Born on September 20, 1960, at Fort Kochi. *Basic education was in different schools in Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kottayam districts and at U C College, Aluva, and College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum. * Conducted special Research Studies in the History of Art, Aesthetics, and Visual language of Film Art. *
Was the Editor and Publisher of a parallel film magazine titled as Drusya Kshethra, circulated through the Film Societies of Kerala during 1984-85.*
Secured Degree in Political Sciences and M.B.A in Mass Communication. * Has been awarded Doctorate from Concordia Open University for the thesis titled The Formation of Film Language in World Cinema. * Has written stories and articles in almost all high-end periodicals and dailies in Malayalam. * Has established Sowparnika Television Studio at Trivandrum during 1994-2002. * Has directed and written scripts for around 30 fiction – nonfiction short films, documentaries, and a TV Serial for various TV channels. * The book- Pather Paanjali, creation of Malayalam screenplay, based on the first Indian classic film Pather Paanjali by Satyajith Rai, was the textbook for final year B.A Malayalam at M.G.University for 8 years.* Has worked as the translator in the Malayalam edition of L’ Osservatore Romano, Pope’s paper from the Vatican.* Kerala Correspondent to Canadian Malayali Magazine, Samiksha.* Prof.Director of School of Film Studies and Aesthetics, Concordia Open University.* Trivandrum Bureau Editor, Malanadu TV * Now working in Film and Television media as the Producer and Director.
