Spartans Representing Canada at the 36th Jimmy George Memorial Super Trophy

The prestigious KVLNA 36th Jimmy George Memorial Super Trophy Volleyball Tournament is going to be organized and hosted by the Dallas Strikers this year.
Kerala Volleyball League of North America (KVLNA) started soon after the tragic death of the greatest volleyball star India has ever seen, Jimmy George. He died in a car accident in Italy on November 30, 1987, at the age of 32.
The tournament will be held at MAC SPORTS @200 Continental Drive, Lewisville, Texas 75067 on the Memorial Day weekend 23rd and 24th May 2026.

 

10 Teams are participating in this year’s tournament. 9 USA teams and 1 Canadian Team. Dallas, California, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Rockland, Chicago, Virginia, Huston, and Niagara are the qualified teams.
Niagara Spartans has been part of KVLNA since 2007. This year team is captained by Joseph Augustine. Team Manager is Salvan Zacharias, Coach George Vadakken and Assistant Coach Togy Pulikkal. Other team members are Leander Pereira, Justin John, Alex John (Setter), Aditya Pillai, Reuben Mathew, Sanjo Mathew, Libin Cherian and Shibin Kunjachan.

 

“Niagara Spartans is the only team outside USA to qualify for this year’s tournament. The matches are going to be very tough and our pool is very strong. But the boys have put in a lot of hard work and practice. We are going to surprise everyone this year, and aiming for a podium finish” said coach George Vadakken.
